About Dr Warren Licht
An experienced clinician, medical administrator, and educator, Dr. Warren Licht currently serves as an internist with one of the largest medical groups in the country, the North Shore-LIJ Medical Group. His office is located on Manhattan's Upper East Side at 927 Park Avenue between 80th and 81st streets. In addition, he serves on the medical staff of Manhattan’s Lenox Hill Hospital, which is part of the North Shore-LIJ Health System. Dr. Warren Licht is also the Director of the Medicine Service Line in Manhattan, with the North Shore-LIJ Health System. In this role, Dr. Licht maintains responsibility for overseeing the growth of the health care system’s primary care services and is responsible for the primary care community based practices, in Manhattan. Dr. Licht serves as the Director for Medical Affairs for the Lenox Hill HealthPlex.
A member of the American Medical Association and fellow of the American College of Physicians, Dr. Warren Licht earned his M.D. from the Georgetown University School of Medicine. He then furthered his training in Internal Medicine at the New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center. Dr. Licht is a certified and is a diplomat of the American Board of Internal.
As a physician, Dr. Warren Licht worked with and oversaw the Wellness and Prevention Center at New York Downtown Hospital. His dedication to patients’ well-being and individual needs earned him the hospital's 2011 Distinguished Physician Award. Dr. Licht also possesses extensive experience in medical administration. From 1995 to 2011, he held numerous leadership roles at New York Downtown Hospital, including Associate Chief of Medicine, Program Director of the Internal Medicine Residency Program, and Chief Medical Officer, among other positions.
